Transitional Housing
One of the primary goals of the Zion Hill CDC is to provide transitional housing for families in need. In order to meet this goal, the HomeGirls Transitional Housing Program was initiated on January 15, 2007. The HomeGirls Program provides a safe place for families to live while they also receive services needed to move from dependence to self-sufficiency.
The HomeGirls Program currently works with four families at a time helping them to set immediate and long-term goals. The families also receive love, support and encouragement to overcome barriers to success.
