Volunteer Opportunities

Zion Hill CDC offers many volunteer opportunities for people who would like to become more involved. Current volunteer opportunities include:

• Administrative Support: Volunteers are instrumental in helping to ensure smooth operations of our programs by filling various administrative functions including greeting visitors, processing incoming service requests, and answering phones.

• Tutors: Volunteer tutors offer assistance in classroom settings to help participants improve math, science, and reading skills. Tutors can also provide technology education and support in our computer lab.
• Training: We have various opportunities to help program participants understand pertinent life issues include, but not limited to: credit management, healthy living, parenting skills, business development, employment skills, and professional etiquette.
• Special Events: Throughout the year, Zion Hill CDC hosts several special events. Volunteers provide planning assistance as well as support the day of the event to help make our outreach efforts successful.
• Organization: Zion Hill CDC operates The Z Boutique and receives countless donations of clothing and miscellaneous items throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize the donations to determine appropriateness and use in alignment with our services.
